Overcast with stratus until after midday. It brightened up for a time
in the early afternoon with some weak sunshine, but the sky became dull
and rather threatening again after 15.00 local time. Heavy rain
accompanied by several rumbles of thunder from 15.30: rain became
lighter and then stopped by 16.30. Repeated rumbling thunder once more
from 17.15, with sporadic light to moderate rain until about 18.00.
Dull but dry since then. Warm and humid with a light N to NW wind.
