[WR] Otter Valley, Devon - Sunny & very humid after the rain
Much needed rain started yesterday (Friday) afternoon and was light,
patchy but kept going on and off through until early this morning. It was perfect rain for soaking into the parched soil. A total of 17.5 mm fell for the whole rain event. A cloudy start to this morning then becoming sunny with unbroken sunshine for much of the afternoon and evening. Very humid at first with DPs of +19C but dropping back to much fresher levels. Minimum = 15.9C Maximum = 23.7C Sunshine = +8 hours After yesterday's wet start to Sidmouth Folk Week, today was a stunning day for the event with practially unbroken sunshine along the sea front from mid-morning onwards. -- Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 20 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
