Since June 1st the number of days that have reached 25C or higher is 31 (considering my stats to 09z today). Last year at the same point there had been only 26 days. The average maximum this summer is 24.2C - last year to this point was 23.9C.
A friend of mine's wife who lives in Poplar is from Jerez and reckons this is the first year she can remember that summer is anything like 'home'... |
