Sticking out into the warm(?) Atlantic at this time of year means the temperature in quiet weather gets a head start on most of the UK.
In Penzance around 19C at 11:00, 20.5C at noon. Even up at Culdrose the temperature is similar (20C @ 11:50 according to http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ , 21C at Land's End) Another glorious day with a flat sea, swell only around 1' off Land's End. It's likely to get lumpy on the south coast tomorrow as the easterly wind picks up. Very low tide currently, low water near chart datum, offshore breeze and fairly high pressure. http://www.sennen-cove.com/harbourcam.htm Graham Penzance |
