Montpellier in SW France had 290 mm rain in the 12 hours ending 18.00
UTC (20.00 local time) today, Monday. 201 mm rain fell in 3 hours between 14.00 and 17.00 local time, including 91 mm in the hour between 15.00 and 16.00. Severe flooding as a result in the city and in surrounding towns.
