Default Severe flooding in Montpellier (SW France): 290 mm rain in 12 hours

Montpellier in SW France had 290 mm rain in the 12 hours ending 18.00
UTC (20.00 local time) today, Monday.

201 mm rain fell in 3 hours between 14.00 and 17.00 local time,
including 91 mm in the hour between 15.00 and 16.00.

Severe flooding as a result in the city and in surrounding towns.
