The screen min here was 1.1°C, which is a little lower than I thought it would be but not greatly, given the clear sky, absence of wind and fairly dry air. I've no idea what the forecast was so I can't say how much they were out by. With R4 forecasts it's customer choice over a climatological range, or "single figures" or something equally useful. (In places).
The forecast of 7°C cannot be true, surely. It was down to that here by 1830Z with a clear sky and hardly a breath of wind.
