I suspect that your headline is slightly misleading, as I think all the
rain in the SE was probably on Saturday evening. Sunday actually was a
beautiful day down here, after cloud first thing.

A little further west in Romsey, it was a sunny morning followed
by some potent showers early afternoon, with small hail at 2pm.
Rainfall in the showers totalled 3mm.

Occasional lightning in the southeast quadrant now (2315Z),
quite bright flashes despite the moonlight which seems to be
disappearing behind a Cb anvil as I type. Could we be in for
thunder day number 30 this year?
