I suspect that your headline is slightly misleading, as I think all the rain in the SE was probably on Saturday evening. Sunday actually was a beautiful day down here, after cloud first thing. -- John Hall "Never play cards with a man called Doc. Never eat at a place called Mom's. Nelson Algren A little further west in Romsey, it was a sunny morning followed by some potent showers early afternoon, with small hail at 2pm. Rainfall in the showers totalled 3mm. Occasional lightning in the southeast quadrant now (2315Z), quite bright flashes despite the moonlight which seems to be disappearing behind a Cb anvil as I type. Could we be in for thunder day number 30 this year? Nigel (Romsey, Hampshire) 40m amsl --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com |
