Deep blue sky and strong (for November!) sunshine around the middle of the day, in slack very unstable air, led to some sea breeze convergence. Rare in November, but early afternoon the wind was generally NE along the north coast, E-SE along the south.
This led to some very rapid Cb development, pictures at http://www.uktrail.com/colchat/viewt...6&p=3200#p3200 There was torrential rain as the shower drifted WSW and clipped Penzance. Graham Penzance |
