I'm normally a coldie but you won't see me in despair, I've had my snow this
winter thank you
5 days of hard packed snow struggling to get out of our road is enough for
me, getting too old for it.
Your zonal ****e will do me until the end of Feb even if I will have to put
up with endless days of damp, gloom and doom
Roll on Spring

Temp now up to 5.8c with a rapid thaw

Graham (Weston Coyney)

Forgiven. I can be blamed for much, but not for the weather!

Well not having seen a flake of snow for nearly two years (excluding my
trip to Iceland in March 2012)it would still hold some novelty for me. I
am drifting in your direction coping with it though Graham. My
balance and leg strength (dodgy knees) have deteriorated further in the
last 5 years so falling over could now be a distict possibility. I would
like it for my grandsons because they are "coldies" (aren't most
kids?)and perhaps enjoy it for a short period from inside.

Nothing to suggest our weather won't be very disturbed on and around the 10th. Some cracking January storms are appearing on the charts to the end of the first third of the month.

"A zonal train". Very strongly zonal out to the 12th and potentially beyond.. Tomorrow, after the requisite 3-day gap between my forecasts, it'll be interesting whether I can extend this 10-day forecast of Atlantic zonal weather past mid-month. Things can always change, however.

A good forecast. The models were spot on with what they showed at the turn of the year (remember that?).
