Default Dec 2014 like Dec 2010

Here in Wembury
Dec 2010
Rain 60.4 mm
Mean max 4.6 C
Mean min -0.6C

Dec 2014
Rain 60.4 mm
Mean max 9.7C
Mean min 4.8C

Rain on both occasions only 50% of 1981-2010 average.
But correlation between monthly rainfall and winter temperature is lacking.

For dynamical reasons this is all rather obvious but rather nicely shown here.

Wembury

For Penzance
Dec 2010
Rain 48.1 mm (34%)
Mean max 7.3C
Mean min 1.2C

Dec 2014
Rain 95.0 mm (67%)
Mean max 10.7C
Mean min 5.3C

So twice as much rain this year, quite a difference to Wembury.
