A mild and fairly sunny month summarised as bright and breezy. Rainfall
was slightly below average. Milder and drier than last December.

Milder than last December? Is that right? I know I have the frost hollow effect but my mean max was 1C cooler than 2013. The overall mean was 0.7C cooler than 2013.

Thanks Scott - no you are right. Not sure if I looked back at 2012 by
mistake or was from when I looked at Christmas before the colder snap.
Anyway, yes, 2013 Mean was 0.3C warmer at 6.5C and mean max just 0.1C
warmer at 9.3C. But yes, your frost hollow has made a difference this
December to our differential.
