"The settlement of the weather model problem in a possible AGW world, which has now been achieved is, in my view, only the prelude to a larger settlement in which all Europe and the world may find far accurate Long Range Forecasts. This morning I had another talk with the director of wetterzentrale. Herr Brass Monkton, and here is the paper which bears his name upon it as well as mine. Some of you, perhaps, have already heard what it contains but I would just like to read it to you: ' ...

"We regard the model upgrades and agreements signed last night by all proper meteorologist and climate scientist not in the pay of massive grants as symbolic of the desire of all our peoples never again to waste money on toboggans, anti-freeze, snow shovels and those stupid thermal underpants that Dawlish wears. I give you SNOW IN OUR TIME."

But if I was the director of Wetterzentrale I'd say "Don't shoot the
messenger".
