The lighting is spectacular though, in between the frequent rain/hail showers.

Recent gusts widely over 50mph, 70mph on exposed parts of the north coast during a recent viscous squall.

Well, at least more of the sand's stuck to the beach this year!

Looks spectacular, but not particularly powerful seas. Probably as well that the tides are small though.

All rather more quiet here today on the south-side of the Peninsula with
a lot of high ground between us and that weather.

Just a few rain showers today with a bit of sunshine in-between.

Maximum of 7.5C and 3.2 mm of rain with nearly 3 hours of sunshine.

The highest gust of wind was 30 mph at 15:43.

Wind much lighter now with a very, very starry sky.

(20:00), 3.3C, RH 85%, DP 1.0C, 983 hPa (R), Wind 7 mph NW.
