The strong to gale NW wind has resulted in this http://magicseaweed.com/Live-Sennen-Webcam/65/
The lighting is spectacular though, in between the frequent rain/hail showers. Recent gusts widely over 50mph, 70mph on exposed parts of the north coast during a recent viscous squall. |

Looks spectacular, but not particularly powerful seas. Probably as well that the tides are small though. Graham |

All rather more quiet here today on the south-side of the Peninsula with a lot of high ground between us and that weather. Just a few rain showers today with a bit of sunshine in-between. Maximum of 7.5C and 3.2 mm of rain with nearly 3 hours of sunshine. The highest gust of wind was 30 mph at 15:43. Wind much lighter now with a very, very starry sky. (20:00), 3.3C, RH 85%, DP 1.0C, 983 hPa (R), Wind 7 mph NW. -- Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 20 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk River Otter Wild Beaver Project http://www.devonwildlifetrust.org/de...eavers-appeal/ |
