A 3-day extension to my forecast to the 11th. And a very similar forecast to that one.
"On 14th Feb, at T+240, the UK will be under the influence of high pressure and Atlantic weather systems will be blocked and kept at bay from most of the UK. The weather will be dry in most areas and winds will be mainly light. As for temperatures, it depends on where the high sits and whether cloud cover is extensive and that is just not possible to determine at this distance, though NW Scotland's weather may have more of an Atlantic influence. Where clouds clear, fog and frost may form, but anticyclonic gloom under thick stratus may well be pervasive." This current blocking high to our west is here to stay, in one place, or another until mid-February. There could be some super winter weather to come, if the sun shines. |

One for the 20% bin. Good to see you can put your hand up when all doesn't go to plan. Good one -- Keith (Southend) "Weather Home & Abroad" http://www.southendweather.net Twitter:@LawnscienceEssx |
