Taken earlier this afternoon, I think that this one is slightly more
interesting than the others I've posted in that it shows some upper cloud movement rather than the more spectacular crash, bang of showers. Shot at one frame very 10 seconds and replayed at 25 fps. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...r%202.3.15.mp4 Lasts 38 seconds. -- Alan White Mozilla Firefox and Forte Agent. Many years ago, I used to Watch the difference in direction of cloud movement between one level and another. That would show whether warm or cold air was being advected in. With so much information available on the internet, it's not so useful nowadays but still of casual interest. In this case, the direction of the upper cloud movement is backed from that of the lower cloud, indicating that the air is becoming colder. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks. There are places where that could be displayed as art, and quite rightly so. At that speed the complex motion of the low-level atmospheric flow can be really appreciated. -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. http://peakdistrictweather.org |

The quality is excellent and the shooting options are huge. Worth the money. -- Alan White Mozilla Firefox and Forte Agent. By Loch Long, twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, Scotland.
