LOL in which case Spring 2014 in Haytor began on 7th May, after a mild winter! First daffodil was on 16th March and 30cm soil was consistently above 7C by April 1st. I leave mine as long as I can, but cool nights mean I won't need to for a bit.
I remember one year in Penistone doing the first cut in April and I had snow on the mower before I finished. |
