Default Tainted Blood

All because the Scottish NHS couldn't be bothered to filter out blood
from Gays and Junkies, 5,000 innocent people have Hep C or HIV. 2,500
of them have died.

Much of that was because PC lefts didn't want to offend those who were at the greatest risk of infection and usually due to pure hedonism . Beulah Heights again.

I remember vividly in the early nineties because of where I worked a and training sessions and through the BBC and Guardian that *everyone * was at risk from HIV, *everyone*. Yet at that time a married family friend was a stupid selfish idiot on holiday in Spain came back with some sort of infection at the height of that scare on holiday and due more than anything the fear that ^everyone^ was at risk of HIV went to so a specialist doctor who actually asked him an old lefty associate of mine whether he was homosexual or had slept with a women from sub saharan Africa , When he answered no to both the clap clinic specialist said there was nothing to worry about and prescribed him an anti biotic and sent him home.

All sorts of sensible precautions went straight out of the window due to now wanting to offend a certain section of the community and a very vocal section in that period.

My now deceased very left liberal ex professor of paediatrics father in law at that time said at that time if someone with HIV blew out the candles on their birthday cake he would be very reluctant to eat a slice. No anti anything just bloody precautious.

I think you'll find it was throughout the NHS, not just Scotland.

And that most of the tainted blood came from the "Land of the Free"
where people are paid to donate blood no questions asked.
