Default Glorious Spring day at last ! (Cool start to Spring)

It has been a cool and often damp and grey start to Spring here. The
average maximum to date is 12.3C, which is not that low but it has been
close to that temperature most of the time with few highs or really cold
snaps. Only three days with maxima above 15C and none above 18C which is
unusual for here by early April.
SO today feels like the start of Spring with light winds and a beautiful
blue sky. I just feel sorry for all those going back to work today from
around here whohave missed out after the dismal Easter weather. The
advantage of being retired I guess - every day is the same!

Same as yesterday here Dave! SW has definitely definitely been the best over Easter - and the crowds are testament to that! 😀☀ï¸â˜€ï¸â˜€ï¸

That's the downside to living in a nice area!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day up to 1pm with clear blue skies and sunshine: 16.2C. I think it's been a decent spring so far with loads of sunshine. At least it's not been a washout!
Up to 15.6C so far today

I think it was further East where the problems were yesterday Scott. We
had about 2 hours of hazy sunshine in the morning. We probably have had
more sunshine than I think because I don't measure it but it has been
tempered with that really cold wind in the last couple of weeks. We've
also had rain on 9 of the last 14 days and the ground is only just
drying out. The good news is the grass hasn't started growing yet and
this is the latest I've had to cut it for a few years.
