Quite a gradient now between the SW of England (1025 mb) and Central Ireland (1009.8 mb) at 0600 UTC this morning with a developing low scooting across the Republic. with dew points of around 9°C in the warm air, but for most of Northern Ireland temperatures only around 2-4°C with a large area of moderate rain and snow on higher ground.
A bit bizarre really because most of the south of England have clear blue skies. |

The area of strong winds seems very limited, basically W & NW Wales currently. Graham Penzance |
