And Redesdale was almost the coldest overnight too, which would have
been an impressive double. I wonder if that has ever occurred.

Default Warmest place on Thursday: Redesdale 20.5°C !

I recorded 21.3 with my non-standard Davis Weather Monitor II, but my chum down the road recorded 21.2 in his standard Stevenson, so I don't think we're far off. It was a lovely day.

It's hard to believe now that it's all over for the foreseeable future, and that tomorrow is going to be a real shock. Looking at the long-range charts, am I right in thinking that at the start of May we see a polar low developing, and if this had been a few months earlier we'd all be getting excited?
