They've been looking for a hot spot for over 40 years and they still haven't found it. The report is from the source, UNSW which is the same outfit that sponsored the disastrous "ship of fools" aka The Spirit of Mawson.

Don't you think the satellite data sets which covers most of the globe would have found something by now, yet you and the Guardian are so eager that you take the word of a snivelly group of western haters who nowadays pass as climate scientist. The very same idiots who to prove the Antarctic sea ice was disappearing followed Maswons route and then got stuck in severe sea ice conditions the Christmas before last.

There is a saying that even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and again, but the UNSW team are so incompetent that even if they stuck their hands down their underpants they still wouldn't find a nut and that goes for some of the men as well.

Apart from the fact that the research is now very clear and tropospheric warming, towards the tropopause, has been found to be the case. Read the research I've linked to, instead of posting denialist stupidity.
