I'd hate to see the worst! Before you tell me it's ok where you are, I
know. But the forecast for here was for sunny periods and warm in the
sun. It is now (11.30) 12.8C and steady rain after a morning of thick
cloud. There was also no mention of a temperature of 16C at midnight.
Diabolical forecast I'm afraid.

Just looked at the radar and your rain appears to be highly localised,
but that's no consolation when you are under it of course!

Cloud trying to break up here and there is some sun, but from the
tone of the forecast yesterday I was expecting much more in the
way of sunny skies.
Currently 14.6°C with little wind so pleasant enough.

It is pretty localised Col but spread from the Essex coast to London and
Surrey. Rain stopped play at the Test at Lords now much to the
consternation of the commentators who remarked they thought it was
supposed to be sunny today.

Well if you will live in the SE :-)

Warm sunny spells up here on Dartmoor, T +17.8C and rising, almost too hot
sitting outside in the sun now!
