Yes. That heat headed further east.
It is a heatwave that I remember well for a special reason. One rather excellent result of that heat was that I saw a good possibility of that extreme heat coming around 11 days in advance. Betting is a fools game, as I've said on here many times, unless you have an edge. 12 years ago, people were not as cautious, or informed, as they are now and someone had 16/1 on offer Betfair. Irresistible and resulted in a tidy little £800. A heatwave which I won't forget! |
