Bright and warm. Sunny at first but a dense veil of high cloud made the sun very weak from mid-morning. Bright sunshine again with some patchy high and medium-level cloud from early afternoon, but increasing and thickening frontal cloud in the evening. Light S wind in the morning veered SSW to WSW in the afternoon, and backed very light SSE to S in the evening.
