Default Thunder and Lightening, Not that Very, Very Frightening

Yes the Tempest after the Midsummer AGW's Dream, has cast its ominous revenge shadow(okay its night) over the pound shops of Sydenham and Penge.

Most of the weather gods ire was to my east. but looking at the radar at 00:02 there's another developing wodge to come. what I can't work out is: every time lightening is seen it is heard only through my right channel speaker; not the left before I actually hear it in reality
