Sunny morning: already 30°C by 11.00 local time. Soon after midday, extensive cumuliform medium-level cloud appeared and it became rather cloudy for a while. Less cloud and more sun subsequently, but a veil of high and medium-level cloud covered much of the sky in the late afternoon and evening, with just a little weak sunshine from time to time. Oppressively hot and humid: light SW to W wind veered NW in the evening.
