A warm and clear night with a nice starry sky and a gentle breeze.
Spent too much time looking at the sky from 2300 to 0000 with the net result of seeing one 'shooting star'. That makes two I've seen in my entire life time and both since living here. Now, we shall sleep. -- AS http://nature.opcop.org.uk I knew the Triffids were real when I saw the signs Caution: Heavy plant crossing |

That makes two I've seen in my entire life time and both since living here. I planned to go up the Braes of Enzie at 11 pm. At 10 pm the sky was totally overcast. So I accepted a glass of wine from my neighbour. At 11 the sky was beginning to clear. I have to make do with the rather restricted view from my garden sun-lounger rather than the panoramic view from the Braes ![]() However I did see two meteors. Having also seen the Loch Ness one in April, that makes my tally three this year. This morning there's not a cloud in sight. Anne |

Good thing it isn't a contest ... next year, we'll stay up all night (blatant untruth). I think Craigewan would be a good spot but the back garden won the day for us too (but not because of an earlier Pimms, just idleness). -- A S http://nature.opcop.org.uk http://pictures.opcop.org.uk |
