Looks interesting for next Tue / Wed with the Bracknell charts for 12z Tues
showing the now tropical storm Erika moving towards the UK.
NWS are advising that Erika will become extratropical within the next 36hrs
but there might possibly be some deepening later.

Worth watching as Michael Fish said last night on the midnight BBC2 forecast.
Remember Lily in October last year.

Looking through the archives I found another reference to Erika from 1997. I'm sure that I worked with Rob Bale at one time - he obviously moved on.

Rob posted on here for many years before a rather nasty troll hounded him
out. He is now a very much loved regular on uk.weatherworld.
