Yes UKMO and their Great Britney Summer Forecast-oh dear. What with the BBC possibly giving them the Spanish Plume ....sorry Archer this isn't good and as for that old saying any publicity is good publicity-well it just ain't true

It backs up what some of us have said all along - it is impossible to
regularly predict the weather more than a week ahead with any consistency.
It says "after predicting a dry hot summer" then says .....

"Seasonal forecasts for this summer suggested that temperatures and
rainfall would be near normal."
Nothing like consistent reporting.

I know you hate this aspect about me Dave but I have to say it, I truly believe the predictions are couched hopes and wishes about AGW so everything is OTT.

As with a lot of media reporting there is no consistency in that (Telegraph) report.
