I have a Davis VP2 and I also have a stream running through the middle of my garden. Does anyone here have any experience with water level sensors? I also have a VP2 and am very interested in doing the same thing to record the water level in my pond. The water level fluctuates over the year based on rainfall and evaporation. Were you able to find a solution yet? I see Vegetronix offers a water level sensor with 0-3V output. I expect this could be interfaced to a Davis system. The current draw is only 1.2 mA, so I imagine it could be solar powered. You'd need to shield the sensor wire from rain somehow though. http://www.vegetronix.com/Products/AquaPlumb/ Scott Shaw Beaverdam, Virginia, USA http://www.manticohill.org |
