Hi Norman, vile morning here. Feels tropical with 13.1C/13.0C. heavy rain
all night at 15mm/h and still raining. Fog higher up. 30mm since midnight.
Outside it's like going into a sauna, everywhere is sopping wet, I stupidly
left my large garden shed door open and inside is all wet now. Slugs getting
into the house again by the back door, please, please can I have some dry
polar air?
At least the main house is a nice dry refuge from the soggy mess outside.

Lucky you!
It's been raining and drizzling on and off all day up here and now, joy of
joys, there is thick fog (80 metre visibility).
Everywhere is still sopping wet, even the inside of my shed is still damp.
Weather did dry up very briefly for an hour this morning but humidity
remained up at 98%. Max. temp. +14.2C.
