Although, I've posted a brief weather report, my concern is the accuracy of the postings, especially with regards to temperature on a hot sunny day. Stick a thermometer in a silly place & you'll get a silly reading.

If I thought that this was the start of the BBC treating meteorology as a
serious scientific subject rather than just entertainment I might be interested

Don't the Met Office already have a very similar scheme for amateur
observers? I wonder why the BBC feel the need to duplicate it.
