Since 1800 yesterday 39mm and still the rain comes down with a lashing SW
wind. At least the fog above 400 metres is moving very quickly now. Max. frontal rain rate 31 mm/h now it is down to a mere 4mm/h. Needless to say humidity is still 100% and all surfaces are now not only sopping they are pouring wet, water is streaming down the exposed house walls. Might get some sun later in which case it will break the 10 day sun drought but we shall see on that. Last chance today as this mucky tropical maritime flow looks set to continue until Weds when at last we will get some relief in the form of a cold front followed by returning polar maritime. Still ridiculously warm, outside temperature at 0930 was +13.9C, inside a steady +16.7C with 82% RH.
