Default WeatherOulook Slates Met Office Forecasts!

I think it has to be remembered that the MetO is a public service
provider and is funded by us. We deserve a certain standard. Being an
ex-Civil Servant (I got out into the private sector for an easier
life!) I know all about budgets being pared to the very bone, budget
levels set not by what is needed to do the job, but to a level that
some faceless Whitehall goon thinks will win him praise from on high.
This doesn't excuse the MetO being pretty poor in its forecasts.

TWO, by contrast, is a knock-about private site run by an individual.
Sometimes it takes itself too seriously, sometimes not at all
seriously. It likes sensationalism, but there's no real harm in that.

And Codge is obsessed. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

How often are the Met Office wrong with the forecasts that they are in
business to provide namely shipping and aviation predicted weather?
