Default Westerlies

It was interesting to note that all over the clusters of the GFS ensembles this morning are essentially subtle (slightly more northerly) variations on a theme of westerlies:

Yes, I've noticed that the GFS and ECMWF models are hinting at a spell of
strong WNW'lies. That is usually very bad new for here as it is our wettest
direction. On the other hand, Ken in Copley will probably love it, as long as
he doesn't get blown away :-)
