My preliminary figures showing that this November will be my 2nd warmest
November, very close, warmest being 1994, data from 1960. As it stands: November 1994 Max 13.0°C Mean 10.8°C Min 8.7°C November 2015 Max 12.9°C Mean 10.8°C Min 8.6°C Still possible, I have included todays current max of 8.1°C as I write, which should rise. 12°C forcast for both Sunday 29th and Monday 30th, it's gonna be a close call :-) For the record, the following Dec94/Jan95/Feb95 where all above average temperature Jan/Feb above average rainfall..anyones guess? -- Keith (Southend) "Weather Home & Abroad" http://www.southendweather.net Twitter:@SS9Weatherman |

My records only go back to 2005 and this November is likely to be my warmest though 2011 will come close. November 2011 Mean maximum = 13.5C Mean minimum = 8.2C Mean = 10.9C November 2015 (1st - 28th) Mean maximum = 13.7C Mean minimum = 8.7C Mean = 11.2C The main difference between November 2011 and this month is the lack of sunshine (Nov 2011 = 88 hours; Nov 2015 = 49 hours). -- Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 20 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
