Default You've got to laugh.

I thought I would post this to cheer every one up after Paris; Piers & George Galloway! https://www.rt.com/shows/sputnik/325...-world-stalin/

Piers "top climate scientist" for once explains the science behind his forecasting methods. The path of the Jet Stream is altered by solar radiation, which he demonstrates.

It does raise the question if a more northerly Jet Stream has led to our warmer autumn, whether it is caused by natural variations, a shrinking sea-ice cap, the solar cycle aka Piers, El Nino, Climate Change, or a combination of all of those?

Is that the same electrostatic effect that you get when you rub a balloon in you hair?

I can see that if you scale that up, and imagine the globe as your head that might just explain a few things...

Default You've got to laugh.

It reminds me of an edition of Don't Just Sit There when Magnus Pike used to pull out something strange and start waving his arms around.
