Hints of blocking to our east, on a couple of operationals this evening, at T+240, as the SSW event reaches its peak, but not all-model agreement. Still, you never know what tomorrow may bring! 😀😀 Nope, so true. |

The model suggestions came to naught. It's a generally zonal outlook out to the 25th and almost the end of the month. There's not quite the model agreement I'd like to forecast, however. See what this evening brings - as always!

Some hints at mid-Atlantic ridging, which could indicate a colder end to the month on the gfs and ECM. Nothing approaching 80% certain, but the hints are there.

More hints of a colder end to Feb, but no agreement, or consistency. Anyone like to forecast at 10 days with those charts? Nope? Thought not - maybe Freddie, who had a good go a couple of times previously? 1/2, 50% so far, but I enjoyed your forecasts.

ECM and gfs showing charts, at T+240, to cool the cockles of any coldie! GEM doesn't agree.

Now gfs and GEM show an Atlantic blast at 10 days (backed to 9 days by the JMA model), but ECM refuses to play ball, showing nothing of the sort.
Forecast anyone? Again nope? Thought so......😀 |

And finally agreement and consistency. Colder at T+240.
