Penzance - Sunny Spells & showers
Some pleasant spells of sunshine in a blustery SW wind. A very heavy shower around 11:00.
The big swell looked great whenever the sun was out http://www.sennen-cove.com/index.htm Splashing up over the prom, even with the offshore wind. December now has a mean temperature (not mean maximum!) of 12.2C. This is warmer than any April in the last 25 years, apart from 2007 (12.7C) Previous warmest December 9.3C in 2006 (Records start 1991) So this month is currently smashing the previous warmest December record by 2.9C!
