My air pressure is currently 989.6mb and falling, nothing exceptional,
but the last time it was this low was the 5th May 2015 which peaked at 987.6mb... -- Keith (Southend) "Weather Home & Abroad" http://www.southendweather.net Twitter:@SS9Weatherman |

Pressure here currently 984 hPa, that's the lowest since 978 hPa on the 30th January last year. And what a surprisingly lovely day in this low pressure system after the rain cleared early this morning. Not too much rain fell (8.8 mm) but the River Otter has still reached the tops of its banks so it must have been much wetter upstream. Blue skies, warm sunshine with just the odd, thin patchy cloud and barely a breath of wind with a temperature between 11C & 12C. As the CF went through this morning the wind went from a gusting 30 to 40 mph southerly to a near calm and westerly in 15 minutes. (14:55), 11.2C, RH 87%, DP 9.1C, 984 hPa (F), Wind 3 mph SW. -- Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 20 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
