It looks like someone's dropped a nuclear bomb on Newton Abbot, either that or they're in for a shower or two this afternoon.

There's been some fantastic cloudscapes several days this year.

See the bottom 3 off Penzance prom earlier this week http://www.cornwallcam.co.uk/recently.htm

(The Jubilee Pool is currently undergoing extensive repairs following the Jan '14 storms. Due to re-open late May)

Hi Dave, just come back from my Sunday walk high up on Ryders Hill. Lovely
Cbs all around. We caught one sleet shower and that was it! Brilliant day
with superb visibility and a cooling breeze. Temperature circa 5C most of
the day. This polar air is gorgeous after all the SW'ly dross recently.

Cheers Will, I did take a photo looking towards Haytor but the cloudscape wasn't as impressive.

Apparently Ł1m's worth of improvement were made to Newton Abbot ;-)
