Default Lost: one frying pan

There is definitely something in the air. I have lost a 10 inch frying pan (answers to: FK!SHHttt!!) I can't guaranty that it is in the air but that would at least mean it is relatively safe for you to approach. If it is approaching you that is another matter. And I apologise in advance.

I do have a tendency to use cooking utensils as plates but a thing of that size tends to remain in situ (Wife wanted, must be rich.) Now can anyone tell me how the hell I might have gone about losing it.
I think I still had it after the last time I went to the pub. But can't be sure.

All suggestions suspiciously received except any by Dawlish. If anyone else can be so stupid, that too is hard to imagine.
