Default Stay below 100m!

Lovely sunshine for around 3 hours or so, but only along the coastal fringe.. Anywhere 100m or so was shrouded in mist or low cloud. But right on the coast it was a lovely few hours. Marazion at 13:30, showing the sunshine & hill mist. http://www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/m.html

2 sunny days out of 3 is not bad, last Friday was just amazing http://www.sennen-cove.com/22jan16.htm . Yesterday was dull and decided damp, wet in the evening. 4.3mm in the 24 hours ending 09:00 today.

Minimum of 10.8C last night. It's going to take a persistently very cold February to prevent this being my warmest winter on record.

Bright here in the valley at 20 m amsl but all the hills around are
shrouded in mist.

Minimum of 11.8C last night and a maximum today of 13.3C. I suspect this
month's mean temperature will end up above average (current mean = +0.3C).

My warmest January day was 16.3C on the 9th last year.

The winter so far (1st - 23rd):
Mean minimum = 6.5C
Mean maximum = 12.0C
Mean = 9.3C
Rain = 191 mm
Sunshine = 145 hours.

So warmer and a bit wetter than normal and with around average sunshine.
