Tideswell, Derbyshire - Monday 15th February 2016
---------------------------------------------------------------- 0630z 34008kt 50+km SKC -00.6/-02.4 1023 RMK: A fine clear morning but there's a very sharp breeze. There's a dusting of lying snow as a result of showers yesterday evening. It appears that there has been no precipitation since before midnight. -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. http://peakdistrictweather.org |

Just a slight dusting of snow now starting to melt in the sun. I can't really understand why there's still a snow warning in force for this area. There hasn't been any precipitation since before midnight and little or no prospect of any during the remainder of the day. 09-09z: Tx 4.1 (1330z) Tn -0.6 (0650z) RR 0.2 15-09z: Tg -3.9 00-24z: Sun 3.7 -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. http://peakdistrictweather.org |

Mostly sunny during the morning. Rather more cloudy in afternoon but still with occasional sunny intervals. The cloud is melting away now and the temperature is falling quickly. At its present rate of fall it'll be below zero before 1730z. Most of the lying snow melted in the sun by mid-morning but, in the shade, some has persisted all day, even though it was only a slight dusting.
