Default Well-marked cold front

The boundary between the mild air and the colder air further north is currently
marked by a very narrow band of heavy rain lying approx E/W just north of
Lancaster. It shows up very well on the radar imagery. It's drifting south only
fairly slowly.

Rain band now just north of Preston.
Awaiting it's arrival here with interest.

Passing through here now although not that narrow. More intense and
colder than I was expecting from the forecast. Temp has fallen from 12C
at midnight to 6.8C now. The 6.5mm so far is the highest rainfall total
of the month.
