Following the installation of Exeter Airport No 2 (03844) on 22/01/2016 to MMS
and the subsequent monitoring period, the data has now been signed off by QSQM
as being of acceptable quality for the observing network as of 09/02/2016 and is

Norman

No sign of 03844 as yet, at least in the OGIMET download this morning, although I suspect it's the same data that appears as 03839 which has been coming in for many years but with no wind data. They'll probably just swap the SYNOP numbers when they add the winds.

It would be a good opportunity for them to give WMO numbers to all those climat sites that appear with the block number 99. We live in Hope - well I would if I could afford it!

Bruce.
