Thatr's not to say we are ALL to blame as we all like using are phones and computers and cars. Whatever you believe we will all pay in the end. Even if the third world economies were not growing, do you really think that we would reduce our emissions? We are still trying to grow our economy. Even the new left wing leadership in the Labour Party are advocating that. Expand the economy and you have more cars on the road and more carbon emissions. Until the scientists realise the disaster we are all facing, e.g. half the global population dying of starvation, and warn the public of the dangers, then that disaster is inevitable. But some, even here, are peddling complacency and apathy. No wonder the politicians and public can't see the catastrophe ahead. When they do wake up to the dangers it will be too late! World oil would've run out by the middle of this century so with no oil driven vehicles, boats, trains or planes it should give the planet to recover. You know after this sentence I was actually surprised to see you saying something sensible for once. Unless humanity is so stoopid that it replaces oil driven vehicles, boats, and trains by steam driven vehicles, boats, and trains run by coal. Then I read this sentence. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.... Nornal service is resumed! -- Col Bolton, Lancashire 160m asl Snow videos: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3QvmL4UWBmHFMKWiwYm_gg |

It would greatly reduce the human population and block out the sun allowing the ice to reform. -- Brian Wakem Lower Bourne, Farnham, Surrey http://www.brianwakem.co.uk/weather |

Lawrence, Didn't you know that plants do not grow on ice sheets? Nor would those living on the Somerset Levels or the Fens appreciate a sea level rise of 12 m.. Sea level rise is all within the 2-3mm every year since the last ice age , it is always in a state of rising or lowering. The climate will cool again and we will be in another disastrous dry frigid world once again for 90 odd thousand years and zillions of plants will die. Thankfully we are still in a warms interglacial which will one day reach a point where we enter a disastrous period once again of glaciation. I'd prefer to live in this time that any other period of earths history |

However, the annual rate of rise over the past 20 years has been 0.13 inches (3.2 millimeters) a year, roughly twice the average speed of the preceding 80 years." That is 6.4 cm in the last 20 year. If that continue to double add 12.8 cm upto 2035, and add 25.6 upto 2055 plus 50 cm up to 2075 plus a 1m for 2075 to 2095. That makes 2m by 2100, so long as there is no sudden collapse of the Greenland ice sheet. We may be safe but what about our grandchildren? Have you no conscience? |

Such he says is better spent than filtering through my wet cement. When asked about the Atlantic he said who knows I'm much to thick? I'll open up my drawer of socks and ask them all about its blocks. Talk to the hand began his glove he may know what's spoken of. This idiot data as you see is far beyond the likes of me. I only know it's getting warm, it's all I know when said and done. I post about it when I'm me and then again in puppetry. I'm not the only one to care, despite the fact I'm not all there. I reprimand all those who don't and laughs hahaha@ll who won't. So there we have what's going on, at sea with Mrs Garvey's son. |
