RMK: Despite the clear blue skies over much of the country
it has stubbornly remained mostly cloudy here this morning.
Only 20 mins of sunshine recorded so far, though it is the
first sun since Sunday so it's very welcome. It looks like
the cloud is being generated by orographic uplift of the
moist WNW flow coming in from Liverpool Bay. WNW'lies are
often bad news here.
