Default Very local weather in Northampton

Took the dog out this afternoon, and kept a very careful eye on the sky
towards the south-west. Thick, dark clouds, with several signs of heavy
rain pouring out them to the south of town. After an hour and a half,
returned home without getting wet. Turned on the radio to hear of
traffic chaos on the A45 4 miles away due to lane closures and flooding,
Queues all the way back to the M1 and beyond.

Got f*****g soaked when I took her out at 10 o'clock this evening.

Can't win them all, I suppose.

Lovely day here on climatologically wet Dartmoor, pretty little cumulus
clouds and baking warm sunshine. Max. +13.7C !
Top of garden soil now drying for the first time in over six months. Would
be nice to see some action though with a decent fall of rain (circa 50mm+).

I hope for your sake that you haven't. Hell, if that is going to be the average, I hope to god I am wrong! I might even consider changing my religion to stoooopid.
