Why was tonites radio 4 weather moved? Switching on tonight I was presented with a daft song. Did anyone hear it?

Yes, I heard it. The weather forecast seems to be regarded by the PM programme as no more than a filler. That's the fluffyheads in the media for you. The song (with the late Victoria Wood) got more and more hysterical as it went on and I ended up rather uncharitably thinking good riddance.

All the weather forecast ever is, is a filler. All it ever has been is exactly that and it is all it ever will be.

Following your dreadful comments about Victoria Wood, I'm sure there are many who'd love to say 'good riddance' to someone as foul as you.
